Looking At Artists - Steven Pippin

Steven Pippin is an English photographer that used a method of improvised photography that involved converting random objects such as washing machines, bath tubs and  into cameras.
In 1999 Pippin turned a row of 12 washing machines into cameras rigged with trip wires for his project named Laundromat Locomotion. His most memorable result from this experiment was where he rode a horse in front of the washing machines, recreating Edward Muybridge's  The Horse In Motion.

This method of using a flawed media to take photos has inspired me to use a flawed method of my own to take pictures e.g. a pinhole camera.
